Job Brief:
The HSE Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves risk assessment, incident investigation, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Monitor workplace activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance with HSE standards.
  • Develop emergency response plans and coordinate safety drills.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to foster a safety-conscious work culture.
  • Prepare reports on safety performance, incidents, and risk assessments for management review.
Job Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certification.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and incident investigation.
  • Ability to develop and implement HSE policies and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • IT Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Language: Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
